Academic Transformation (Young Adults): We aim to guide and support young adults in their journey towards wholeness. The Pursuit to Wholeness ministry has been highly successful since September 2023. Many young adults have benefited greatly from it. FYI, it was presented in CBC radio talk show by Peter Mengesha as Schulich leader scholarship worth 120,000 thousand.
Academic Transformation (Adults):
We will actively promote financial literacy and health awareness, provide ESL classes, offer parental care programs, and organize job fairs through partnerships with grassroots organizations. We also emphasize the importance of life insurance, investment, and financial literacy.
Health Transformation (All Age Groups): Our plan includes organizing health seminars for both men and women, in collaboration with registered medical practitioners and public agencies. Additionally, we will provide guidance on raising a productive family and nurturing children.
Economic Transformation: We will create a platform and hold seminars to educate individuals on thriving in crucial markets and adapting to economic reforms. We also offer job advisory services.
Immigration: Our primary focus lies in establishing a robust support network for newcomers. We strive to provide them with ESL classes, facilitate meaningful interactions, and offer settlement tracking services to keep them well-informed of their immigration status in Edmonton, Alberta. Additionally, we collaborate closely with public and governmental agencies to connect newcomers with the necessary resources for their successful integration. It is with great gratitude that we acknowledge the opportunity granted to us by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada to sponsor numerous Eritrean and Ethiopian refugees. As of now, a total of 159 individuals have chosen Edmonton as their new home. To delve into the specifics, we have welcomed 147 newcomers thus far, with a total of 448 individuals being effectively processed. Looking ahead, we are pleased to announce that our organization has secured advanced spots for 2024, with 25 individuals allocated to us.
